"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened."
- Anatole France

Brayhope Farm believes that the bond between humans and animals is a mutually beneficial relationship that can foster the health and well-being of both. The mission of the Corporation is to provide members of the special needs community with the positive therapeutic effects of animal assisted activities in a compassionate, safe and professional manner, and to achieve educational goals through community service programs in an effort to enhance the quality of life for special needs people who interact with the animals, as well as the animals themselves.

Our 2025-26 hay expenses totaled $3250. 650 bales @ $5 each for both donkeys & goats. A hard long winter can easily increase consumption by 100 bales or more. Upstate NY!

One of the most fundamental needs is one of our largest expenses. Would you consider donating a few bales to the herd as we head into winter and help fill our barns with nourishment?

Feed is one of our biggest expenses. It's never to early to begin pledging money towards this fundamental element of care! Our hay expenses for 2025 were $3250.

Our donkeys get hoof trims every 6-8 weeks from Meghan of MM Livestock.
$50 will cover one donkey.

Our vets at North Country make sure our animals are healthy. Spring wellness exams with yearly vaccinations totaled $2132 in 2026. A small price to pay to keep the herd healthy; one donkey and goat at a time!
